Started and Finished Dogs
Dogs- We tailor our breeding program to produce dogs with outstanding
natural abilities and trainability with a focus on producing pups with
superior noses, drive, endurance, and style. While finding birds is
their most important job, they might as well look sharp doing it. Sure,
to produce dogs that excel in both arena's takes more money and time but
if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right. We don't cut any corners
or pinch pennies on our dogs, our facilities, or their feed (as my wife
will be more than happy to tell you and ring my neck for!). Although we
receive no incentive to do so beyond our concern for our dogs future
health we highly recommend keeping the dogs on Nutro's Natural Choice
Performance line of dog foods. It is rice based (because corn is
worthless for dogs, it's just a cheap filler) and highly digestible.
Sure, it's more expensive but like anything in life, you get what you
pay for. I personally don't believe in feeding my dogs a bunch of
by-products (beaks, feet, guts, cancer tumors, dead-rotten animals,
etc). I figure if I wouldn't eat it why should I make them!

8 month old pup - He is sired by National Field Champion Showtimes Rolling Thunder. Ricky (Rolling Thunder) is sired by 3x NFC Rawhides Clown. His dam is 3 times NSTRA Champion Rawhides Blazen Josie. Wes - Wes is a 4 ½ year old male English Pointer. He is a professional guide dog for wild pheasants and quail. He is a big, strong, black and white dog that can flat find birds. He points with a poker tail and is solid as a rock. He backs on sight. He has been our stud dog for the last 3 years but our breeding program has shifted to German Shorthairs so Wes is in need of a new hunting home. Only serious hunters that hunt 20+, preferably 30 or more days per year will be considered. He lives to hunt and I won’t sell him into any other situation. His sire is Elhew bred out of Crazy Horse ($2000 stud fee), Mr. Mc Goo, etc. His dam is out of National Champion Dunn’s Fearless Budd, Champion Whippoorwill High Jack, Champion Whippoorwill Bud Man, etc. The numbers of birds he’s pointed and retrieved is countless. Most Hunters will never get to hunt over this experienced of a dog. He is $2800 firm or cash + guns or Shorthairs. |

Rex - Rex is a well-started, 2 year old English Setter. His Sire is Scratch Boomer Again and his dam is Diamond's Outback Covy. If you know setters then you know who these dogs are. If you're not familiar with them, they are very nice bloodlines that consistently produce winning dogs. Rex is Whoa broke, here broke and whistle broke. You can kick around in front of him as much as you want and he'll hold solid. He is ready to be force fetched although he retrieves naturally. He has had a lot of birds shot over him and will make a very nice gun dog or foot trial dog with very little more needing to be done with him.
